Unexpectedly, just when our exhibition was held, the new crown epidemic in Guangdong region was even more fierce, the form of epidemic prevention and control was unprecedentedly severe and complicated, and the difficulty of holding the exhibition had exceeded the expectations of the Union and relevant units. Is it open or liberal? Is it lying flat or saving itself? At this critical moment of extreme contradiction, with the timely release of "20 measures for epidemic prevention and control" by the Party and the government and the strong support from the Shenzhen Municipal Government, our alliance and member units resolutely held the exhibition as planned!
It is foreseeable that the audience of this exhibition has been reduced to a certain extent, and the communication with customers has been hindered, and even some enterprises feel disappointed for not achieving the expected effect after attending the exhibition. We also empathized with them and felt the hardship and difficulties of the industry enterprises under the pressure of the epidemic, and were moved by their courage and spirit of never giving up and pursuing excellence. At the same time, the exhibition also showed another amazing performance, machine vision exhibitors reached 328, again refreshing the VisionChina Shenzhen exhibition record, in addition to displaying a wealth of products, the design style of each booth is colorful and unique. It must be said that this is a long-lost to "technology display, market exchange, industry applications" as the core of the show, this is a collective confidence in the show, this is a display of wisdom and synergy!
We believe that the exhibition under the current epidemic is a contest of strength, a convergence of confidence and a competition for the future. It is a victory for the machine vision industry and a victory for the enterprises to overcome the epidemic and themselves. Looking at the whole country, the cities and exhibitors that dare to and can hold the exhibition under the current epidemic conditions are deservedly the "people who dare to eat crabs", which also explains the extraordinary significance of "Shenzhen effect". Although we bear the risk of epidemic, the pressure of poor exhibition effect and the hard work of running all the way, its social effect and market reaction will be invisible, long-term and positive, and it shows that there is such a group of "road-runners" who are brave to go forward in the turbulent market and to go backward under the complicated epidemic. We can proudly say that the reform and opening up has made Shenzhen a success, and the exhibition under the complicated epidemic will be the valuable wealth of our industry and enterprises.
