Q: Under the background of Made in China 2025, equipment manufacturing is the core and pillar of the manufacturing industry. What is your company's development plan and strategy in 2021? How to better apply the company's products to the equipment manufacturing industry?

A: Now intelligent manufacturing is a hot topic. With the strong support and promotion of the government, the assembly manufacturing industry is developing rapidly and the competition is becoming increasingly fierce. Ruhlamat is also innovating constantly, among which the technology and innovation strategies are mainly reflected in two directions.

First, by developing and delivering Industry 4.0 technologies and solutions, our automation equipment is generally more efficient, agile and flexible. Our goal is to become a technology leader among automation equipment manufacturers in the field of digital, artificial intelligence machine vision, especially in the field of automated assembly. Artificial intelligence machine vision plays a vital role in the field of automation, which not only makes our equipment more flexible and reduces costs, but also digitizes product quality information to achieve closed-loop optimization of production lines.

Second, it develops new technologies and provides assembly technologies, processes and solutions for electrification in the automotive and other industries. We are now focusing on the development and implementation of automated solutions for the mass production of hairpin motors and fuel cells. Artificial intelligence machine vision system is also used in practical production, such as defect detection and adaptive parts processing, this new technology is one of the important factors of our success.

 

Q: In the next two to three years, which end product areas do you think will see growth or new market demand for machine vision applications in China and globally? How will your company deal with it?

A: We have been in the automation field for more than 20 years, providing a large number of customer recognized automation solutions to the market. In addition to integrating AI machine vision systems into our product lines for our customers, we also provide our technologies, solutions and services to the existing stand-alone "plug and play" convenient systems and complete integrated solutions in the market. After in-depth market research, we see a huge market demand, especially for the integration of our digital solutions with our smart factory. At the same time, we are also combining artificial machine vision system with intelligent factory digital solutions to play a greater role. For the complex automation process, the artificial intelligence machine vision system is to some extent to make up for part of the missing, which is the first time to realize the digitization of quality information. In recent years, with the development of intelligent manufacturing, enterprises have generally realized that artificial intelligence machine vision is an essential factor for future factories. As a result, we expect high double-digit growth in the field of machine vision systems. In order to seize this market opportunity, Julamat has set up a separate visual business division to further promote the business.

 

Q: Cross-boundary cooperation and technology integration is the current trend and opportunity of the entire machine vision industry. With the current innovative technologies, such as edge computing, artificial intelligence, deep learning, embedded vision, 5G+, etc., which innovative technologies will your company focus on in the future?

A: We focus on the high integration of data analysis of equipment process and AI machine vision technology, as well as the high technology content of automation equipment. The goal is to make process data fully transparent, accessible, traceable, and progressively self-optimizing. Over the past few years, we have successfully developed the required crossover capabilities with many success stories.

 

Q: Visionchina2021 (Shanghai) Exhibition, what latest technologies and products will your company bring to the exhibition? What are the highlights of the main product?

A: At Vision China 2021, we will be showcasing EaglAI AI machine Vision solutions. The new product was developed by Ruhlamat in collaboration with its partner, Senquire. Julamat's artificial intelligence machine vision system is a plug-and-play vision solution, which mainly consists of two aspects: high-speed Edge equipment -- Eaglai Edge and cutting-edge AI vision software -- Eaglai Train for model training. Eaglai Edge and Eaglai Train have a very user-friendly development program that allows customers to develop their own AI models without programming, even without a visual expert. Eaglai Edge can also be used as a lightweight PLC for self-building simple actuators and equipment without additional PLC and related expertise. Its ultra-high speed image capture and model processing capacity is less than 5S, which can realize defect and object detection under high speed motion, and can be used for quality inspection, material handling and measurement, etc. I have had successful applications in a variety of industries, from defect detection of automotive switch gloss surfaces, to the size and geometry of seals, to the detection of pinhole defects on PCB boards.
