Mr. Damhaut, speaking about the impact of COVID-19 on Euresys and the machine vision industry, said: "The machine vision industry, like every other industry, has been affected by Novel Coronavirus in terms of the company's operations, marketing and sales activities, particularly the slowdown in product demand, which has had a significant impact on us. But to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, the need for higher levels of automation and unmanned equipment will continue to grow, such as a factory that has achieved a high level of automation through machine vision to continue to operate efficiently during an outbreak. There will also be a huge increase in the demand for machine vision from the medical and wellness industries."

Mr. Damhaut, has Euresys taken any positive measures to deal with the impact of the epidemic on your company?

Our approach is to address and ensure that the supply chain is not affected, and to actively communicate with customers to deal with the delays in product delivery and shipping due to city closures and traffic disruptions.

May I ask what latest technologies and products your company will bring to the exhibition from July 3 to 5? What's the bright point compared with other similar products?

As a major participant in the field of machine vision components, Euresys will bring its latest CXP-12 products, Coaxlink Mono CXP-12 and Coaxlink Duo CXP-12 3D processing software and 3D applications. In addition, more functional modules of 3D processing software will also be shown. Our Coaxlink Mono CXP-12 has had a number of successful applications in the SPI and component inspection industries based on laser line scanning 3D. It provides customers with higher data bandwidth, significant cost savings, and simpler cabling engineering than traditional solutions. Customers are very satisfied with the improved cost performance brought by these products.

Artificial intelligence and 5G technology have become hot topics in recent years. May I ask what new technologies and applications your company has in this field this year? As an important part of intelligent manufacturing, the promotion and application of 5G technology, what new opportunities and challenges do you think it will bring to machine vision?

Aiming at artificial intelligence and 5G technology, we have developed many new technologies and products. In the Open Vision image analysis library, we have introduced the deep learning image processing software module, which realizes the supervised and unsupervised image segmentation functions. In order to support the popular trend of edge computing, we developed the CustomLogic FPGA open programming function in the CoaxLink acquisition card, which can realize the on-board pre-processing of the customer image processing algorithm. We have also developed the MIPI CSI-2 IP core for intelligent and embedded vision applications. As a new communication technology, 5G technology will enable more scenarios of intelligent factory, IIoT and artificial intelligence application. But for machine vision, the successful application of 5G technology requires the rapid integration of a variety of cross-category technologies.

Today, technology convergence is becoming increasingly prominent. What other technology convergence do you think is the most important for machine vision? What are the potential development trends or new development directions of the machine vision industry?

Automation industry is the most important application of machine vision industry, machine vision technology itself and the integration of factory automation technology is the most important.

At the same time, the fusion of machine vision and artificial intelligence technology also promotes its new development.

In the future, machine vision will enter more application scenarios, providing more reliable, fast and intelligent solutions.
