United Photonics offers high resolution, high transmittance, short wave near infrared lenses!
2020-05-11

"Machine vision has been used in industrial automation for the past decade. From the overall environment, intelligent factory is in a stage of rapid development, and the demand for machine vision will be more prominent. We believe that the development of the visual industry is optimistic. In addition, from the perspective of technological development, it has reached a certain height and can be applied to scientific research, biology, medical treatment, logistics, security, environment, agriculture and other fields. There may be more industry applications in the future. From that point of view, we can expect more developments in machine vision."

Li Yixiang, head of the imaging division of United Optical Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd, said: "United Optical Technology is an optical company. We are increasing the investment in machine vision lenses, and we will produce more series of machine vision lenses in the future. It's enough to show that we are very optimistic about the development of machine vision."

United light technology (Beijing) co., LTD. To provide users with optical components, industrial imaging lenses, imported photoelectric detection instruments. The products cover the optical field, including optical components, machinery, optical testing services, coating, etc., and provide customized services for optical products.

Short wave near infrared lens & microscopic objective lens

This year, at VisionChina 2020, United Photonics will highlight two series of products: short-wave near-infrared lens and microscopic objective lens.

Mr. Li introduced: "Short-wave near infrared lens products are our products for solar wafer detection. Its performance is better than that of European and American products of the same type, especially the consistency between the center and the edge has won high praise from users. This year, we exhibited in VisionChina (Shanghai) 2020, and recommended our products to more users of infrared imaging system. Microscope objective series is our new products for semiconductor, scientific research and other fields. In recent years, domestic semiconductor products are developing rapidly, but the supporting testing products, such as microscopic objective lenses, are mainly made by Japanese companies. The emergence of our series of products is expected to fill this gap in China. Our series of products have been used in semiconductor wafer detection. Hope for the subsequent development of domestic semiconductor products."

Optical technology into artificial intelligence, multi-technology integration

Artificial intelligence and 5G technology have become hot topics in recent years. As an important part of intelligent manufacturing, the promotion and application of 5G technology will bring about new opportunities and challenges for machine vision?

"Artificial intelligence and 5G technology are also areas of great concern to us," Li stressed. UOPT takes the perspective of optical technology into the direction of artificial intelligence, mainly to bring optical lens products for artificial intelligence. In addition to FA lens, line sweep lens, telecentric lens, there are short wave near infrared lens, far infrared lens, micro objective lens, etc. The promotion and application of 5G technology is more about cooperating with our partners to jointly open up more opportunities and challenges."

Today, technology convergence is becoming increasingly prominent. Which technology convergence do you think is the most important for machine vision? What are the potential development trends or new development directions of machine vision?

Mr. Li believes that: "Machine vision itself is a multi-technology integration industry, from the earliest image processing as a starting point, to now has a very rich content. From our point of view, the convergence of optical technologies is a trend. At present, machine vision mainly focuses on visible image technology, and other optical technology applications are relatively few. For example, infrared imaging technology, which we think has a certain foundation, is expected to have a relatively rapid development in the next few years."

VisionChina (Shanghai) 2020 will be held in National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai) on July 3-5, 2020. The exhibition brings together machine vision manufacturers from all over the world. The exhibition covers the core parts, auxiliary parts and systems of machine vision. Such as intelligent camera, board card, software package, accessories, industrial lens, light source, image processing system, machine vision integration, etc. There are also rich content, full of work at the same time of the forum and activities.
